Convention Programs
Friday 7:30- 9:00 Dan Lennon Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for the Branson Chamber of Commerce will discuss "Marketing to a Mature Audience". His presentation will touch on the successful effort that Branson has used to make it a highly desirable vacation destination for the 50 plus crowd and how it plans to add other demographic groups to the hit list when it comes to making Branson a total family fun place to visit.
Friday 9:30- 11:00 The White River Valley Historical Society will present "A History of Branson and the Ozarks". This group will help us continue the tradition of learning about the places where we hold our conventions. Their fascinating presentation will give us an inside look at the history of the area and its people.
Saturday 7:30- 9:30 Devon Plumberg from Divine Expressions will deliver a motivating program "Coaches are People Too". We've all heard many business coaches at our club meetings and most of us have never benefited from their expertise. Devon is going to teach us how to evaluate, choose, work with, and measure the benefits of business coaches. She will take a peak at coaching from the client's side and help you understand whether or not a coach is right for you.
Saturday 10:00-11:30 Mark Newsom from Newsom Creative, will help us continue our quest to understand the unlimited benefits of using the internet to promote our businesses. This presentation will help members understand some of the nuts and bolts that some web designers feel are "trade secrets". You will leave this presentation with real "street" knowledge that you can use immediately to improve the results you get from your website.
Saturday 12:00-1:30 TEAM SPI- Sales Pros will conduct a team building exercise that will bring out the creative side of all who attend. This program is designed to help maximize your ability to think on your feet, participate, and deliver stunning and effective presentations. You will work closely with your peers in this fascinating and fun workshop to be the first to go to market with a brand new product.
